At Dublanc Studio we believe that the best architecture is the expression of a language of contrasts.
On one hand, it involves a subtle and skilful marriage of past and present, an intense realisation of tradition and imagination, memory and fantasy.
The legacy of our ancestors informs our work, as we appreciate the proportions and the sense of place that exists within classic architecture. When we start a new project, the building becomes an object of study combining traditional knowledge with new ideas of design, technology and sustainability.

P+D has been commissioned to produce a design concept for the Somaiya Ayurvihar in Mumbai, India. The five-storey building, with a total area of 50,000 sq. ft., will be an extension of the existing Physiotherapy Centre within the campus.

“Architecture, art of shadows”
Designed for a couple in their thirties, the house is located in the Southern Hemisphere, in the central part of Chile.
The house layout captures natural luminosity across the daytime (morning, day, evening and night), and aligns with the light sources’ orbits (sun, moon, stars), achieving the desired shades for the house’s activities.
